How Two Brave Women Developed the First Effective Skincare in Germany
Düsseldorf, 1936. The young beautician Margarethe Sendler wonders why skin creams "mostly have floral names but no indications of purpose or ingredients." How are women supposed to know which care is best for their skin? She and her friend, Dr. Bertha Roeber, a physician, decide to take matters into their own hands.

The pioneers successfully rely on their own research, development, and production in Germany, expanding their range with new products and effective formulas for individual skin needs. They have clear principles: reliability, strictly controlled quality, fair value for money, and honesty.

With their combined expertise, they develop a completely new type of cream: with targeted formulations, clearly defined ingredients, and well-defined effects. The birth of Germany's first effective skincare! In a time of economic and political upheaval, Margarethe and Bertha establish their own cosmetics company: MARBERT.
